The Komori Lithrone S40P has been a major investment by industry leader Newstyle Printing, that has brought multiple benefits to printing clients throughout Australia.

This new machine arrived in December 2007. After exhaustive training and test runs it was commissioned for Newstyle’s valued clients in February 2008.

Previous problems with double-sided printing, including scuffing of the second side, are eliminated. Before it even hit the marketplace, the press was presented with three coveted BG certificates for European standards in environmental advances: Emission Tested, Environmental Protection and Protection of Health. (Berufsgenossenschalt Druck und Papierverarbeiting)

  • Solid waste is dramatically reduced with reusable cleaning cloths, an integrated oil cleaner, oil-free bearings and recyclable ink containers.
  • Printing is alcohol-free.
  • Inverter motors are highly energy efficient, while advanced automation shortens makeready processes for efficiencies in ink, paper & electricity.
  • Consumables on the press are dramatically reduced. For example, rubber ‘blankets’ on each cylinder have underblankets that improve durability so they last far longer, reducing cost, waste and down-time.
