Environmental Policy

Newstyle Printing is an established, highly regarded and successful quality offset printing company specialising in medium to long run full colour printed products.

Newstyle Printing Co Pty Ltd believes that excellence in environmental management is integral to being a successful business. 

Environment may be broadly defined as the surroundings in which Newstyle operates, including air, water, land, natural resources, flora, fauna, humans and their interrelation.
 
To maintain and foster a healthy environment for the well being of future generations, we will:
 
  • Identify, evaluate, regulate and control the environmental effects of our operations
  • Manage and control our activities based on the international Environmental Management standard ISO 14001:2004 , Printing Industry Association of Australia Environment Management Manual Jan 2005 and industry best practice
  • Comply with all applicable environmental legislation and regulations and other environmentally requirements to which we subscribe 
  • Promote a work ethic, which places a high value on the environmental effects of our operations 
  • Train all of our staff and relevant contractors in our Environmental Management System
  • Plan and manage our activities to ensure that pollution and environmental degradation is prevented 
  • Be cautious in operations or actions where the adverse effects of the activity cannot  be confidently predicted 
  • Continually improve our performance by developing a best practice approach to everything we do and establish through management consultation, objectives and targets related to resource use and selected significant environmental aspects 
  • Consult with industry, community and interest groups on environmental management issues
